Qld: Bligh wishes LNP good luck in leadership vote
Queensland Premier ANNA BLIGH has wished the Liberal National Party the best of luck
in its leadership vote today.
The LNP's 33 MPs are meeting in Brisbane (EDS: 1100 AEST) to vote on a new leader and deputy.
LAWRENCE SPRINGBORG vacated the leadership when the LNP lost the election on March
21 .. but is expected to run for the deputy's role.
Brisbane-based MP TIM NICHOLLS .. the Sunshine Coast's FIONA SIMPSON and Gold Coast
MP JOHN-PAUL LANGBROEK are contesting the leadership.
