Florida Atlantic and Mike Jarvis finally have a deal.
After weeks of anticipation, Jarvis is being announced Tuesday as the Owls' new coach, his first sideline job since St. John's fired him nearly five years ago.
Jarvis' four-year contract must be approved Wednesday by university trustees.
He replaces Rex Walters, who announced on April 14 that he was leaving after two seasons for San Francisco.
Jarvis, who also coached at Boston University and George Washington, has a 364-201 career record.
