TV gets channel switches

The most striking change in baseball this year won't be on thefield - it will be on TV and radio.

The White Sox have changed stations - in part - and announcers.The Cubs have some new callers. CBS - not NBC or ABC - has controlof the playoffs and World Series. And ESPN will pre-empt its tractor pulls with a161-game major league schedule.

The White Sox joined the WGN-TV Chicago Sports family (Cubs andBulls) for 43 games. Jim Durham will handle the play-by-play and TomPaciorek will provide color commentary.

SportsChannel still will have the bulk of Sox broadcasts andthey return a familiar face to the booth - Ken "Hawk" Harrelson.Paciorek will perform …
